BROKEN CITY
   
Logline: Seven years after being forced to resign in a scandal for a questionable shooting, former New York City police detective turned private investigator Billy Taggart (Mark Wahlberg), is hired by the city’s Mayor, Nicholas Hostetler (Russell Crowe), the same man who ended his police career, to investigate his wife’s suspected infidelity. When the wife’s lover turns up dead, things become more twisted than Taggart could have ever predicted. As he begins to question Hostetler’s motives, Taggart is courted by both the mayor’s wife and his old police chief to turn the focus of his investigation on the Mayor. Taggart quickly discovers that he has been a pawn in a larger game, and seizes the opportunity to make up for his past mistakes, as he navigates the dark intersection between the criminal, political and business worlds, playing all sides to take down the mayor.

KILLER ELITE

WHAT’S WRONG WITH VIRGINIA
 
Logline: Written and directed by Academy Award-winner Dustin Lance Black (“Milk”), “What’s Wrong With Virginia” stars Academy Award-winner Jennifer Connelly as Virginia, a charming, yet mentally ill mother whose greatest love is her protector and illegitimate son, Emmett (Harrison Gilbertson). HACHIKO: A DOG’S TALE
   
Logline: This heartwarming true story is an American adaptation of a Japanese tale about a loyal dog named Hachiko. This very special friend would accompany his master to the train station every day and return each afternoon to greet him after work. Sadly his master departs one day, passes away and never returns to the station. Hachiko faithfully returns to the same spot at the station the very next day, and every day for the next nine years to wait for his beloved master. During his daily visits, Hachiko touches the lives of many who work near and commute through the town square. He teaches the local people love, compassion and above all unyielding loyalty. Today, a bronze statue of Hachiko sits in his waiting spot outside the Shibuya station in Japan as a permanent reminder of his devotion and love.
